Value of CD32

Postby obliterator918 » Sun Jun 22, 2014 7:02 am

I have been thinking about thinning down my hardware collection and looked at eBay to see how CD32s are doing. It's been a long time since I checked the value of CD32s and it seems like they have gone up quite a bit.

I wonder if there would be any interest at OVGE in a CD32 system (complete in box) and games... Doubt many people who will be there have even heard of it!

I think it goes with 'Whatever the market will bear'. It's such an oddball item, that it's hard to say exactly what it's worth.

For example, in 2002, I paid $75 for mine.

A couple of years later, I paid $150+shipping to bring a brand new one in from China.

And lastly, I picked up a motherboard (PAL) for $20 shipped from the UK.

If I were to guess... $150? is probably a good price.. maybe a little more depending on the games you have.
